Year Epoch

Year One
The first game year

Month One
Median average is 75 degrees in daytime and 55 at night. Sunrise/set 0659/1655.

1st: The First Assembly is held. Afterwards Cristor and Brictorian are seen to be arguing as Cristor does not want send his Crew off the Ark; Vlad volunteers to take Cristor’s Crew’s patrol. The Crew sets off on its first patrol (Patrol 1) , where they find a dead mutant. Spotting a flashing light, they investigate (The Ascent). They battle giant spiders and then return.
2nd: Bricktorian names his Crew, gaining status, and benches the Crew while he loots their find. The Crew adopts the name ‘Fellowship’ and an insignia based upon the spider battle, gaining status.
3rd: The Crew runs a short patrol.
4th: The Crew runs another short patrol and encounters Rot Ants; Alex is badly wounded, and Twitch is hit by friendly fire (Interlude A). Marlotte drives an extremely hard bargain for medical supplies.
5th: The Crew takes down time to recover from wounds. Nitro and Blaze take up a ‘word of the Day’ program to refine their intellects.
8th: The Crew resumes patrolling (Patrol 2), They go to rescue one Landborn (Rex) captured by Skullucks; Kelic is killed. They also battle a direweed.
9th: Second Assembly. Bricktorion is demoted, Factions are created, the Fellowship gets two motions passed (they are long-range patrols, and to get any land transport immediately available). Motions are now required to be posted 24 hours in advance. The Vault controls all diplomacy and appoints a Security Director.
10th: The Crew tries to mend fences with Bricktorion and fail, and take downtime. Anton, the new Security Director, assigns the Fellowship to patrols of not less than ten miles and may not investigate ruins within ten miles of the Ark; the People’s Army is assigned patrols of no more than ten miles. The Iron Fists are assigned to patrol up to three miles from the Ark. Oscarti rewards the Fellowship for saving his people.
11th: Gordo determines he can have pigeons trained by the third month.
24th: The Fellowship begins a long patrol (Patrol 3), and runs into a patrol of Skulluck led by Moaners. After defeating the patrol the Fellowship tracks the patrol back to a partially-buried hotel, which they enter. They search several levels, and end up in a savage fight with Skullucks, rescuing Tuma, Borim, and Atin after they win. Now responsible for the ex-captives, the Fellowship withdrew. The ‘word a day’ program has gotten on everyone’s nerves.
25th: The rescued trio sets off, and the Fellowship returns to the Ark. They keep much of what they learned to themselves. Someone took a bowel movement in Vlad’s cabin and went through everyone’s gear.
26th: The Fellowship takes downtime and recruits Gordo and Fraser.

Month Two
Median average is 70 degrees in daytime and 51 at night. Sunrise/set 0650/1724

9th: The Fellowship resumes operations. They follow the beach east and locate what they believe to be an estuary; they discover a raft with four pure strain humans aboard in very poor shape (Incident Alpha). The Crew learns some useful data from the four.
10th: While exploring Twitch is badly wounded by a Gator. Back at the Ark, the Elder passes away.
11th: The Fellowship encounter Roland, a wandering trader, get information about the area, and purchase a map. Boone trips a mine in their travels, but gets a dud. The Fellowship is attacked by blood flyers while in their night camp. Charlie accidentally stabbed Boone in the face during the fight. Back at the Ark a grand funeral is held for the Elder.
12th: While skirting the Bitter Bog the Fellowship investigates some ruins and runs afoul of Bloat flies.
13th: The Fellowship brought the four humans to within sight of Sandbarra’s smoke and sent them to safety; the Crew then forced-marched back to the Ark.
14th: The Fellowship takes down time.:
17th: The notice for the Third Assembly is posted, to be held on 2-19. Each Council member and the Security Director is required to report their Crew/Faction’s progress, and immediate plans. The only motions to be discussed are status events, the tributes to the Elder, the continuing social definitions of the People, and the re-assignment of the Iron Fists as a landing force for the People’s Navy.
19th: Third Assembly: The Vault reports their continued practice of controlling the monetary matters of the Ark; Director Grase reports that eight full-time members (under pay) of the new Ark Guard have been hired; these eight will serve as Deck Officers day-to-day, and as leaders for the militia that will comprise the bulk of the Ark Guard. Brictorian explains that the Army is conducting detailed sweeps of all areas within the immediate region so that a clear map of the area and assessments of the threats will be in hand. Gunnitt reports that the Thinkers have solved the issue of poor fishing around the Ark: fuel oil is leaking from the ship’s tanks. The Thinkers are planning to locate and pump out the fuel tanks into an unused water tank to solve the problem, the action made possible with a loan from the Vault. The recovered oil will be divided between the Thinkers and the Vault. The Auditors are working on an improved fire defense and evacuation plan. Marlotte’s Lifebringers are still seeking their solution to the fertility issues. The People’s Navy is planning to launch an expedition to the Jaw in the next few days. The Landborn are continuing to gather beasts for raising, and are surveying for fields and pastures. The motion regarding social status is to create the position of Artisan, these being skilled craftsmen who do not belong to a Crew or Faction, and the application of the term of ‘striker’ to be applied to any one is not an Artisan or a Crew/Faction member. The Iron Fists are allocated to the People’s Navy as a landing force. The Fellowship reports on three nations and their general locations, plus the general direction of a rumored town. the Vault prohibits contact with political factions without a Vault delegation being present.
30th: The Fellowship sets out to scavenge, and fall into a sinkhole which leads into ruins (Patrol Four). Twitch killed a radroach, and then both Boone and Twitch are badly wounded in a fight with a metal man. The Fellowship clears the complex, battling cave scorpions; Twitch was badly poisoned. They spend the rest of the day shifting things.

At Flagg’s establishment Lewis spots a handbill from the DoA offering 100 gp for a wearer of the tattoo, 200 if alive and able to talk. They arrange a job to rescue bales of herbs from lizard-folk. They stumble into a sacrificial ceremony, and in a bitter fight that wounded half the Fellowship, won.
